You also need additional markers for gold pieces and victory points; you can use CATAN chits from the Seafarers expansion, coins, or whatever is handy. The standard CATAN base game rules apply to this scenario, with certain exceptions.

Indiana & Ohio

Indiana and Ohio lie north of the Ohio River and south of the Great Lakes. Both were carved out of the old “Northwest Territory“ in the early 19th century.

Picture yourself in the era of discoveries: after a long voyage of great deprivation, your ships have finally reached the coast of an uncharted island. Its name shall be Catan! But you are not the only discoverer. Other fearless seafarers have also landed on the shores of Catan: the race to settle the island has begun!
