If I take Spock as my new support card, may I use him immediately during the next turn of an opponent?
Yes. Spock may be used immediately during the next turn.
If I use Leonard McCoy to choose a victory point development card, may I immediately reveal the card if it allows me to win the game?
It is irrelevant whether you obtain your final victory point via Leonard McCoy or via the normal procedure. If you have the victory points required to win the game, you reveal all your victory point cards - including the one you just received.
If I use Pavel Chekov to move the Klingon battle cruiser to the asteroid field, do I receive one resource even though I don't have an outpost or starbase bordering the planet?
It doesn't matter whether you or other players have an outpost or starbase there. You receive the resource because the Klingon battle cruiser disappears and keeps itself busy counting asteroids until the next "7" is rolled.
If I use Uhura, must one of the players give me all his resources of the same type?
No.
May Hikaru Sulu remove a starship if, as a result of this, an outpost or starbase is left without starship?
Yes.
Support cards: If I keep a support card after having used it for the first time, may I exchange it before I use it a second time?
No. If you decided to keep the support card after using it for the first time, you can't change your mind afterwards. After you have used the card for a second time, you must exchange it.
When using Sarek, do I have to discard a “Starfleet Intervenes” card or a card from my hand?
You must discard a “Starfleet Intervenes” card you have already played. As a result, you may lose the Largest Starfleet.
When using Uhura, may I demand different resource types from the two players?
No.
Who receives the “Largest Starfleet” card if its current owner uses Sarek and thus no longer has the most “Starfleet Intervenes” cards in front of him?
Three situations are possible here:
- The player who up to this point had the Largest Starfleet continues to have the most “Starfleet Intervenes” cards in front of him (either alone or together with another player): he keeps the Largest Starfleet card.
- Another player now has the most “Starfleet Intervenes” cards in front of him: he receives the Largest Starfleet card.
- Either none of the players or more than one player have the most “Starfleet Intervenes” cards in front of them: none of the players receives the card.
