Spiel '15 - Essen / Germany

After the last big game in Germany was a good 10 years ago, there should be another event in time for the 20th CATAN anniversary at the world's largest board game fair in Essen.

On October 10, 2015, 1040 players finally came together in Hall 4 and broke the previous world record. Among the participants was the inventor of CATAN, Klaus Teuber, as well as the ex-national soccer player Jens Nowotny. The winner of this CATAN - Big Games was Tim van den Bersselaar from the Netherlands.
