The CATAN US National Championship was held in Saint Paul, Minnesota, on September 7 and 8, 2024. 

Drew Elliott, who also won the US Nationals in 2023, successfully defended his title in a thrilling final against Xiao Zheng (2nd place), Sonny Spencer (3rd place), and Joshua Smith (4th place). Drew will now represent the US at the World Championships in 2025, to be held in Germany. 

This year’s event saw a total of 145 participants, with 120 competing in the Nationals, 40 in the Masters, and 15 players competing in both categories.
