CATAN Worldchampionship in Stuttgart
Congratulations to Kohulan Narendran from Canada! He is the new CATAN World Champion.
On April 5 and 6, 2025, the world's best CATAN players met in Stuttgart for the CATAN World Championship.
Almost 90 players from 60 countries and regions participated in this international event at the Baden-Württemberg State Museum.
On Saturday, the new edition of CATAN – The Game was played for the first time in four preliminary rounds. The winners qualified for the semifinals on Sunday.
The semifinals were followed by the final.
Finalists David from Hong Kong, Guido from Italy, Kohulan from Canada, and Raul from Mexico treated the audience to a thrilling game.
Guido led for a long time, but Kohulan overtook him thanks to his luck and the buidling of a city. He is the new CATAN World Champion! This automatically qualifies him for the next CATAN World Championship in 2027.

3rd place: Raul from Brazil
4th place: David from Hong Kong
