CATAN – Connect world record!

On October, 24th 2025 we set a new world record! The world´s largest CATAN game was played in Essen.

1.170 persons played CATAN - Connect simultaneously in the Grugahall next to the Essen Game Fair. The Record Institute for Germany (RID) confirmed the world record and presented Benjamin Teuber and KOSMOS with the official certificate.

The winner of the game was 14-year old Ben from Cologne — congratulations!
