We have released new installation programs for our game “Catan - Cities & Knights”: From now on, the Windows version will not request administrator privileges anymore when starting the game using Windows Vista or Windows 7.

In addition to the versions for Windows and Mac OS X, for the first time there is also an experimental version for Linux computers.

• The Windows version will no longer request administrator privileges when playing. Unfortunately, we could not retrofit this through the internal update mechanism: To play without administrator privileges, you will need to uninstall the game and afterwards re-install it using the latest installer version.
  To do so, please note our remarks about preserving and transfering your savegames!
• For the first time, there's also an experimental version for Linux computers. Please note that this is an experimental version of the game without official support by Catan GmbH. Service & support are limited to the game versions for Windows and Mac OS X.
• The Mac OS X version will, as before, run using Mac OS X 10.4 “Tiger” or later, including Mac OS X 10.7 ”Lion”.
