You must decide immediately after the Event Card is revealed.

Riots - After the Riots, can I still play Benjamin the Loyal Vassal?
Yes.
Note: Benjamin the Loyal Vassal is a Special Card, which can only be used when both players agree, or the use of the card is allowed by the tournament organization.

Riots - I have a Merchant Outpost. The event “Riots” occurs, and I can’t avert it with the help of a star. Do I receive 1 resource for my Merchant Outpost if the number of an adjacent region is rolled?
No. This is an income obtained by rolling the production die; therefore, it is affected by the Riots.

Riots - In the event of Riots, do I also come away empty-handed if I own a Church Domain or a full Paper Merchant’s Residence?
No. The Riots refer only to the income obtained by rolling the production die.
Note: The Church Domain belongs to the theme sets "Politics & Intrigue",the Paper Merchant’s Residence belongs to the theme set "Barbarian & Traders". Both are part of the Catan Card Game – Expansion Set.

Small Market Town - Do I get 1 resource if a region adjacent to a Production Building receives only 1 instead of 2 resources because there were already 2 resources on it?
No.

Small Market Town - Do I get 1 resource if I can’t accommodate a resource I received by means of a Merchant Outpost because the respective region is full?
No.

St. Agatha’s Chapel - Can I place a Pawnbroker on the Chapel?
Yes, but it makes no sense because you don't get anything in return: the star does not count as a resource. And to redeem the Chapel from the Pawnbroker's clutches, you would have to discard 1 gold and 1 star.

No.

St. Agatha’s Chapel - I placed the Chapel and Irmgard. My opponent plays a Merchant or Brigands card. Do I now receive 2 resources now?
Yes. With each Merchant your opponent plays, and with each of his successfully played Brigands cards, you receive any 2 resources of your choice from the bank. If he plays a Spice Caravan, only the Chapel earns you a resource.
Note: Irmgard the Keeper of the Light is a Special Card, which can only be used when both players agree, or the use of the card is allowed by the tournament organization.

Traveling Theater - Can I build the Traveling Theater if I can’t convert a resource into a star?
No.
Note: The answer is valid for the old Catan Card Game, in the Age of Enlightenment, its successor can be placed when no star can be received.

No; you must trade when you move the Traveling Theater.
