• Great Trade Fleet - What is the combined effect of Great Trade Fleet and Lighthouse?

  It improves the exchange rate to 1:1 and protects you from Civil War.

  Note: The Lighthouse belongs to the theme set "Trade & Change", which is part of the Catan Card Game – Expansion Set.

• Great Trade Fleet - When I build the Great Trade Fleet, do I have to decide which of the resources of the two neighboring regions I want to trade?

  No.

• Lady Imelda - If my game partner plays Lady Imelda, can I also place Flavo the Fool, a Cannon, or a Fleet on the discard pile?

  No.

  Note: Flavo the Fool belongs to the theme set "Barbarian & Traders" and *Cannons" belong to the theme set "Science & Progress", all are part of the Catan Card Game – Expansion Set.

• Large Harbor - Can I play cards with the requirement “Harbor” if I only own a Large Harbor?

  No.

  Note: Cards with the requirement “Harbor” belong to the theme set "Barbarian & Traders", which is part of the Catan Card Game – Expansion Set.

• Large Harbor - Does the Large Harbor also increase the commerce points of Fleets?

  No.

• Palace - If I roll a “Year of Plenty” and I have a Palace, do I also have to place a card under a stack if I select an Alchemist from the discard pile and play him immediately?

  The procedure cannot be carried out in this order: you can play an Alchemist only before rolling the dice.

• Palace - If I use the Palace to get a card back from the discard pile when the event “Year of Plenty” is rolled, is my Treasure Fleet nevertheless still effective?

  Yes. But you can only use the “normal” resource for it, i.e. the onde you get when the Sun symbol is rolled.

• Palace - If I use the Palace to get a card from the discard pile when the event “Year of Plenty” is rolled, can I have one more card in my hand until the turn ends?

  • As the active player: yes.
  • As the passive player: no.

• Peasants - Can I place the Peasants card also above or below a fields region of a Metropolis?

  Yes.

  Note: The Metropolis belongs to the theme sets "Politics & Intrigue", which is part of the Catan Card Game – Expansion Set.

• Peasants - Does a Peasants card protect a fields region from Border Conflict and Earth Magic?

  No.

  Note: The "Earth Magic" belongs to the theme set "Wizards & Dragone", which is part of the Catan Card Game – Expansion Set.

• Pirate Fleet - I built a Pirate Fleet and selected a Fleet of my game partner. My game partner plays Sigmund against it. Can I select another Fleet?

  No.

  Note: Sigmund the Sea Hero belongs to the theme set "Barbarian & Traders", which is part of the Catan Card Game – Expansion Set.

• Pirate Fleet - Is it only when building a Pirate Fleet that I can destroy a Fleet from my opponent, or can I do this later too?

  Only when building it.

• Pirate Fleet - To sink another Fleet, can I remove the Pirate Fleet and rebuild it immediately?

  No. A removed Pirate fleet goes to the discard pile, meaning that it cannot be rebuilt immediately.

• Pirate Fleet - When the Year of Plenty is rolled, do I receive the gold for the Pirate Fleet in addition to the resource of my choice, or do I only get the gold?

  You receive the gold from the Pirate Fleet in addition.

• Pirate Fleet - Which Fleets can I destroy with a Pirate Fleet?

  Trade Fleets, Pirate Fleets, and Treasure Fleets.
