• Metropolis - Does a Church in the Metropolis protect Units on the 4 additional building sites for Metropolises?

  Yes.

• Metropolis - Does a Fire Brigade protect the Region Improvements adjacent to a Metropolis?

  No.

  Note: The * Fire Brigade* belongs to the theme set "Science & Progress", which is part of the Catan Card Game – Expansion Set.

• Metropolis - The rule says that Units may be placed above or below the regions. Can I only use 2 building sites of Metropolises, that is, only the upper 2 or the lower 2?

  You may use all 4 places, that is, the upper 2 and the lower 2.

• Religious Festival - When the event “Religious Festival” occurs, do I also get 2 resources if I make use of my opponent’s Church via the Secret Society?

  Yes.

• Secret Society - Can I also use the University if I do not fulfill the requirements for building my own University?

  Yes.

  Note: The University belongs to the theme set "Science & Progress", which is part of the Catan Card Game – Expansion Set.

• Secret Society - Can I first place a Pawnbroker on my Secret Society, then redeem it, and afterwards choose a different Building as a target?

  No. The Secret Society sticks with its target Building until either the target Building or the Secret Society itself is removed.

• Secret Society - Can I place a Dogma on a Secret Society of my game partner?

  No.

• Secret Society - Can I place a Pawnbroker on my Secret Society?

  Yes.

  Note: Foreign Cards and the Pawnbroker are part of the Catan Card Game – Expansion Set.

• Secret Society - If the target of my Secret Society is a University, do I lose a resource when the event “Superstition” occurs?

  No.

  Note: The University belongs to the theme set "Science & Progress", the Superstition belongs to the theme set "Barbarian & Traders", both are part of the Catan Card Game – Expansion Set.

• Secret Society - What am I allowed to do if the target of my Secret Society is a Library, Church, Town Hall, or University?

  You may do everything you normally can do with such Buildings. However, the victory points of these Buildings do not count.

• Secret Society - Where do I place the Secret Society?

  In any city of your choice in your own principality.

• Templar Fortress - Does the Templar Fortress prevent a Knight from deserting when the "Beloved Prince" Statue is built?

  No.

  Note: The "Beloved Prince" Statue belongs to the Artisans and Benefactors Expansion Set.

• Templar Fortress - Does the Templar Fortress protect Dragons?

  No.

  Note: Dragons belong to the theme sets "Wizards & Dragons", which is part of the Catan Card Game – Expansion Set.

• Bank Vault - When the event “Trade Advantage” occurs, do I get resources from the bank if my opponent doesn’t have 2 resources?

  No.

• Border Dispute - Can I exchange a fields region adjacent to a Peasants card?

  Yes.
