Mayfair Games recently announced the re-release of "The Settlers of Catan Card Game." The re-named and revised Catan Card Game, the new Catan Card Game Expansions, and the Catan Card Game Barbarians and Traders Upgrade Kit, are all in the final stages of production with delivery pending.

The Australian Games Expo 2006 will be home to the first sanctioned "The Settlers of Catan" Tournament held in Australia. First prize in the tournament will cover flight and accommodations for the winner to the Essen 2006 Games Fair (Spiel Essen). The winner will compete as the Australian representative in the Catan World Championship.
